Maggie Cagle of Virginia took home Player of the Year honors, while Ginny Lackey of James Madison was recognized as Rookie of the Year.
Cagle was named VaSID Player of the Year after scoring five goals and notching five assists, leading Virginia in both statistical categories. Four of Cagle's seven goals were game-winners, including the go-ahead goal in the Cavaliers' 2-1 victory over Princeton in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Cagle played a big role in UVA going 13-5-1 and making their 36th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Individually, Cagle was also named to the All-ACC Third Team as well as the United Soccer Coaches Region team.
